If you read this entire scripture in context (and I hope you will), you will see how God gave farmers instructions about the smallest details of farming. There you will see the character of our God. His Word says He delights in every detail of our lives. He’s actively interested and involved in everything that concerns you. He is a wonderful counselor who gives excellent advice. You can trust His instructions and His practical day-to-day guidance about how to conduct your life. But you can’t be led if you don’t know His Word. God’s counsel is there but you have to go after it.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I am hungry to hear God’s counsel and eagerly seek His guidance.
- By faith I accept that God cares about every detail of my life and has planned only wonderful things for me.
- My God is good and only good and He is my greatest Counselor.
