Who could possibly like the thought of being refined in fire and washed with laundry soap? But consider the result. When you allow the Lord to purify you, all the addictions, bad habits, character flaws and things that have held you back get burned away, never to return. As God works on you He will do for you what you could not do for yourself. When your Maker can see His reflection in you, His work will be complete. It's so very simple--confess your sins and shortcomings to God and tell Him about the things that seem to be hindering your progress and preventing your success. Trust the Refiner who loves you. As you become more like Him you will be able to give yourself to Him, a true and righteous offering.

• I bring all that I have and all that I am to the Lord for His refining process.
• I receive God’s promise that He will complete the work He began in me.
• I receive the righteousness of Christ and will surrender all that does not match my true nature in Him.
